Dr. Vishakha  Karpe is a competent Senior Pediatric Neurosurgeon in Rainbow children’s hospital , Banjara Hills, and Hyder Nagar, Hyderabad. She is one of the leading pediatric neurosurgeons in India. She is one of the very few neurosurgeons in India who are working extensively in the field pediatric neurosurgery. She has a vast experience of pediatric  neurosurgery from past 10 years. She has performed more than 3000 neurosurgeries out of that approximately 1500 exclusive pediatric neurosurgeries till now. In her diverse experience, she has treated variety of pediatric neurosurgical conditions successfully.

She completed her MBBS from Maharashtra University of health sciences . 

Further, She attained D.N.B General surgery postgraduation awarded by  National board of examinations, New Delhi. She gained basic neurosurgical experience from esteemed institution AIIMS , New Delhi.

Later she did Mch superspecialisation in neurosurgery  from prestigious and one of the oldest institute IPGMER &SSKM hospital, Kolkata. 

She also became the Member of Royal college of surgeons , Edinburgh (U.K.) after clearing the international exam.
She upgraded her knowledge and skills by completing fellowship in neuroendoscopy from the well known neuroendoscopy fellowship program at Jabalpur,  and gained advanced skills.
